HOUSTON, TX October 2014— Numerous Arte Público authors are slated to participate in this year’s Texas 
Book Festival on October 25-26 in Austin, Texas. The festival is a weekend-long celebration of literature, authorship, literacy, and diversity in Texas. Established in 1995 by former first lady Laura Bush, the event typically hosts 250 authors each year. This year, Arte Público is proud to report that eight of our authors and illustrators will be in attendance at the festival.
